Common questions
I paid for Unlock Everything and it’s still locked. Open Settings → Shop → Restore purchases. This re-checks your Apple ID’s entitlement and fixes nearly every case. If not, email us with your iPhone model and iOS version.
Can I get a refund? Purchases are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com → find HotShot Darts → Request a refund. Apple usually answers within 48 hours.
My players and stats vanished. Players, lifetime stats and practice bests are stored on your device and copied to your own iCloud (there is no account of ours). On a new phone, sign in to the same iCloud account and open the app; the best of both copies is kept. Match history is local only: it stays on the phone it was scored on and is not copied to iCloud. Purchases are always restorable from the Shop.
Why did that visit count as a bust? The app applies the standard rules exactly. A visit is a bust if it takes you below zero; if it leaves exactly 1 under double out or master out; or if it reaches 0 without a qualifying last dart (a double or the 50 bull under double out; a double or a treble under master out). A bust scores nothing and counts as three darts thrown. In visit-total entry the keypad can’t see your last dart, so an exact 0 is scored as a checkout and the BUST key covers “right total, wrong double”.
What does checkout % mean? Legs won divided by darts thrown at a double, as a percentage. In visit-total entry the app asks “darts at a double” after a finish, and after a missed finish, on the visit keypad; dart-by-dart entry counts them exactly (every dart thrown while you’re on a one-dart finish). You can turn the question off in Settings, in which case the figure only reflects what you tell it.
Can I switch between visit totals and dart by dart mid-match? Yes, at any time from the keypad. The match carries on with every score already entered; averages, checkout % and history are unaffected, though darts at a double are only counted exactly for the visits entered dart by dart.
How good is the bot? Honest. Each level is a real throw with a fixed scatter around the aim point on a full-size board, and the three-dart average shown for each level (about 30, 42, 56, 71 and 95) is measured over thousands of simulated legs, not typed in. Its checkouts come from the same chart as yours.
Where’s the checkout chart? In the app under Checkouts, and on this site: the darts checkout chart and calculator, printable, with the route if a dart misses.

Send them to the same address. Include a screenshot if you can, and the iPhone model and iOS version for anything that looks like a bug.
