How to use the scorer

Score the visit, not the darts. After each player throws, type the total of their three darts and press Enter (or tap one of the common scores). The remaining comes down, the turn moves on and the three-dart average updates. On a keyboard, type the numbers and press Enter; Backspace deletes and U undoes.

Finishing. When a player is on a finish, the route appears under the scores: the same checkout chart the app uses, treble first and the double last. Enter the score that takes them to zero and say how many darts it took; that keeps the averages honest.

Busts. A visit that scores more than is left, or leaves 1 under double out, is a bust: it scores nothing and the player stays where they were. If the total was right but the last dart missed the double, press BUST.

Mistakes. Undo takes back the last visit, as many times as you like, right back to the first throw. The whole match lives in this browser, so a refresh or a closed tab picks up where you left off. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Legs and the result. Play one leg or best of 3, 5 or 7. The throw rotates each leg, and at the end you get the result with averages, first-nine averages, best leg, highest checkout and the 100s, 140s and 180s.
